Chef Marc Anthony Bynum, a celebrated local chef and two-time Chopped champion, is the creative force behind the kitchen. Known for his bold, boundary-pushing approach to New American cuisine, Marc blends classic techniques with fresh inspiration to create dishes that are as memorable as they are flavorful. His vision for Tasting Room is simple: craft food that sparks conversation, connection, and curiosity.

What started as a friendship over ten years ago has become something extraordinary — a place where passion, flavor, and experience come together under one roof. Tasting Room Kitchen & Cocktails, located in the heart of Farmingdale, is the vision of Chef Marc Anthony Bynum and founding partner Jeffrey Rumman, joined by managing partner Louis Lang.

Jeffrey Rumman, the founding partner, brings the same passion to the front of the house. With decades of hospitality experience, Jeff ensures every guest feels the warmth, energy, and genuine welcome that define the Tasting Room experience. From the moment you walk in, his focus on detail and atmosphere transforms dining into something personal and unforgettable.

When longtime friend Louis Lange joined as managing partner, the trio combined more than 50 years of hospitality experience to build a restaurant that’s as much about friendship and community as it is about food and cocktails. Together, they’ve created a space where great flavors meet great people — a place that feels alive every night.
